IDIE

Infectious Diseases, Immunisation, and Emergencies research group

What we do

IDIE is dedicated to advancing knowledge and understanding of infectious diseases transmission, prevention and control using epidemiology and population health approaches.

We apply a health systems lens to infectious diseases prevention and control and, conduct rigorous research, education, and training across the Asia-Pacific region. We develop innovative solutions to strengthen immunisation programs, disease surveillance, and emergency (e.g. outbreaks) preparedness and responses.

IDIE is based at the School of Public Health and Sydney ID, University of Sydney
